About Safe Kids Douglas County

Safe Kids Douglas County was created by its lead agency—Cobb & Douglas Public Health. Since then, the coalition has grown to include representatives from community, government, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations.

Vision:

Douglas County will be the lead provider for injury prevention, education, and advocate to ensure a safe place for our children.

Mission:

To create an environment in Douglas County where children are free from preventable, traumatic injuries through strong community partnerships, advocacy, public awareness, and distribution of safety equipment.
